The Tennessee Titans selected Southern California defensive back Adoree’ Jackson with the No. 18 pick of the 2017 NFL draft Thursday.
Jackson is a 5-11, 198-pound junior cornerback who posted five interceptions for the Trojans in the 2016. However, most scouts say Jackson is still a bit raw at the position, but possess the athletic skills to grow into the position.
Jackson is a multi-threat player. He is also a return specialist, averaging 27.1 yards on kickoff returns and 12.6 yards on punt returns. He returned four kickoffs and four punts for touchdowns during his college career.
Jackson is the Titans second selection in the first round. The Titans selected Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis with the No. 5 pick. The Titans earned a second pick in the first round after receiving the No. 5 pick from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for the No. 1 pick of the 2016 NFL draft.
