Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon will play in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Oakland Raiders, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
According to Rapoport, Gordon expects to suit up, despite being a limited participant in practice last week with an ankle injury.
Gordon suffered the injury late in last Sunday’s road win against the New York Jets, he officially listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.
Gordon has been questionable four times this season with knee, shoulder or foot issues, but has played every week. He is looking to play a full, 16-game season for the first time in his three-year NFL career.
The Chargers need both the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans to lose, and then must defeat the Raiders, to secure an AFC wild-card berth.
